Weaving together the threads that make up my passion for the written word…as an author, editor, and follower of The Word.
If you didn’t already hear about this through the newsletter, my novella, Into the Shadow Wood will be released soon, and I’m excited to say that I have an artist making a custom cover. Last week he sent two rough concept sketches for me to choose between. One of these two images will be fleshed out and refined to become my cover art, and I’m having a hard time choosing. I like them both! So I’ve set up a poll, and I’m leaving it up to readers and fans.

I voted for #1 because it’s more inviting. It says to me, “Come with me on this adventure.” The figure in #2 seems to be saying, “Stay away from me.”

I voted for No 2 because there are a lot of covers out similar to No 1 in the Fantasy genre Allison.
Besides which, No 2 is very dramatic and promises an exciting read / adventure 👍😃

I started that series with great uncertainty, thinking it was more self-entertaining than anything. Thankfully that has not been the case, and I’ve been told I’m not allowed to stop. 🙂
